How to find us

Hyde Street Chapel, Hyde Street, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 7DR

Directions

From the South M3
From the M3 at J10 follow the signs to Bar End and Winchester. These will lead you on to the Bar End Rd.

From the North M3
Come off at J9, bear left on to ‘Spitfire link’ road A272 straight over next two roundabouts. At the third roundabout turn right on to the Bar End Rd.
Next, for both directions:
At the first roundabout bear left and then at the next roundabout (King Alfred’s Statue is just beyond), turn right.

Follow the one way system which bears left, left again and then right. Follow the road to the top of the hill. Get in the right hand lane.

At the road junction with Jewry Street turn right and follow the road down to the crossroads (traffic lights). Take the centre lane and go straight across into Hyde Street. The Chapel is about 300 metres down the road on your left, just before Hyde Abbey House, and opposite Silchester Place. The Chapel displays a prominent hanging sign.
Where to park:
Sundays: You should be able to park outside the Chapel, or in Silchester Place opposite. The single yellow lines in Hyde Street and Silchester Place are "derestricted" from 6pm Monday to Saturday and all day on a Sunday. This means that you can park in these areas for free during these times.
Other days (before 6pm): There is no free on-street parking near the chapel Monday - Saturday before 6pm. Attendees are advised to use the Worthy Lane or Cattle Market pay and display car parks which are a five minute walk from the chapel.
